URI Golf Finishes 8th at Cutter Creek Intercollegiate

The University of Rhode Island Golf team finished in eighth place this weekend at the Cutter Creek Intercollegiate.
Rhody finished with a team score of 28-over par, 24 shots behind winner East Carolina.
Rhode Island has two tournaments left before the A-10 Championship.

The Rams were led by Bryson Richards, who finished in a tie for 7th overall.

Richards carded rounds of 72, 77 and 70 to lead the Rams.
Andrew DiPetrillo followed up Richards with a six-over tournament and a tie for 14th.
DiPetrillo fired rounds of 76, 74 and 72.
They were the only two Rams to finish inside the top 30 on the individual leaderboard.
Chuck Tragesser finished 38th, and Brandon Gillis finished 43rd.

The Rams return to action on Monday, April 10 for the Wildcat Spring Invitational.
