Dickson’s Back 9 Rally Falls Short, Misses G-Pro Tour Cut by 1 Shot

Despite three birdies and an eagle on the back nine, Rhode Island’s Will Dickson missed the cut by one shot at the G-Pro Tour’s Forest Oaks Classic on Wednesday.
Dickson finished at three-under par for the tournament and the cut ended up being four-under.

The former Moses Brown star gets back at it on Monday on the G-Pro Tour.
Dickson’s Second Round
Starting the second day at two-over par, Dickson needed to make a run to get to the cut line, which was going to be at least 2-3 under.
Of course, it ended up being four.
Dickson opened the round with a birdie on the first hole, but gave it right back and then some with bogeys on the third and fourth holes.
After three straight pars, Dickson ended up birding the eighth hole to turn at even par.
He got off to a hot start on the back nine with three birdies on the first four holes to give himself a chance with five holes to play.
Dickson saved par on 14, 15, 16 and 17, before making an eagle on the par-5 18th hole.
He fell one shot short.
