The Most Intriguing Matches
(Locations are not listed for every match)
4-24-2023
Lincoln vs North Smithfield vs Cumberland – Lincoln Country Club
A mid-season matchup between these North Division rivals at Lincoln Country Club.
Last season, North Smithfield won the division, while Cumberland beat Ponaganset and Lincoln in a playoff to get into the State Championship.
Bishop Hendricken vs East Greenwich vs West Warwick – Warwick Country Club
Hendricken and East Greenwich have owned the central division over the last couple of years.
This year, they each have a different look. Hendricken is now coached by Bobby Leopold, but still have Brady Williams and Andrew Chadwick to lead the way.
EG will look to capitalize on Ryan Marcantonio’s senior season.
4-26-2023 – 4-27-2023
La Salle Academy vs Moses Brown – TBD & Alpine
The two teams will play each other on back-to-back days midway through the season.
La Salle and Moses Brown feature two of the top female golfers in the state in Olivia Williams for La Salle and Kylie Eaton for Moses Brown. Add in Kylie’s sister, Adriana, and it should be a heck of a match.

La Salle are the defending State Champs, while the Quakers finished third last year.
5-1-2023
North Kingstown vs South Kingstown vs Narragansett – TBD
North Kingstown and Narragansett both made it to the State Championship last season, but did not make the cut.

The Skippers will be led by Will Owens, while Narragansett will look to send Sebastian Carlsson off in style this season.
Toll Gate vs East Greenwich vs Cranston West – Potowomut
East Greenwich and Cranston West both made the State Championship last season out of the Central Division, and are among the favorites to get back there again.
Led by senior Ryan Dacey, Toll Gate will have an opportunity to spoil the party and this divisional matchup could go a long way in determining it.
5-10-2023
Middletown vs Rogers vs Portsmouth – Newport Country Club
The battle for Aquidneck Island.
Middletown and Portsmouth both made it to the State Championship out of the East Division, though did not make the second day cut.
Can Rogers interrupt the date?
Narragansett vs Prout – Laurel Lane
In last seasons State Championship tournament, Prout made the second day cut, while Narragansett finished just behind the Crusaders and missed it.
Ganset will ride URI commit Sebastian Carlsson, while Prout will have a new look team following the graduations of DJ Bruno and Mark Roberts.
