Iaciofano Leads Rhode Islanders at Jim McLean Junior Championship

Joey Iaciofano led all Rhode Islanders at this weekend’s Jim McLean Junior Championship at The Old Course in Florida.
Iaciofano carded a two-day score of 13-over par to finish in solo seventh in the boys 14-15 age group

Last summer, Iaciofano became one of, if not the youngest player, to qualify for the Rhode Island Amateur.
This week, he posted rounds of 80 and 77 get inside the top ten.
Meanwhile, in the boys 16-18 division, Barrington star Cole Vieira and St. Rays’ star Nick Emery finished in a tie for 29th.
They both finished at 19-over for the tournament.
Vieira carded rounds of 86 and 77, while Emery went 80, 83 in the tournament.
Both players will now turn their attention to the high school golf season and their respective teams.
