Welch Drops 1 Spot in Latest PGA Tour U Rankings

Following a ninth place finish at the Southern Highlands Collegiate, Patrick Welch dropped one spot in the latest PGA Tour University rankings released on Wednesday.
Welch had remained in the eight spot for pretty much the entire college year (fall season to now), but is now ninth on the list.

The former Classical star ranks less than a full point behind Georgia Tech’s Ross Steelman, and a few points ahead of two-time Northeast Amateur winner Dylan Menante.
Texas Tech’s Ludvig Aberg sits in the number one spot with a commanding lead.
The top-10 players in the final ranking will earn Korn Ferry Tour membership next season with the top five players being fully exempt.
Welch and Oklahoma return to action on Saturday in a match against Texas A&M.
