Expand Your Brand’s Cilley to be Inducted into Westerly HS Hall of Fame
Expand Your Brand Podcast co-host Austin Cilley will be inducted into the Westerly High School Athletics Hall of Fame, the school announced.
Cilley is currently one of the top amateur golfers in the state and hosts the Expand Your Brand Pod with Jeff Morrone on the GolfNewsRI Podcast Network.
The ceremony will take place on May 5 at The Haversham.
Cilley’s High School Career
Prior to taking up golf, Cilley was a star basketball player at Westerly High School.
He earned All-State honors twice and graduated as the school’s All-Time leading scorer with 1,523 points.
That mark has since been passed.
During his senior year, Cilley averaged 24.3 points per game to lead the state and his nine three pointers in a game is still a school record.
Cilley went on to play basketball at RIC and led the team in scoring his freshman year, before injuring a vertebrae in his spine.
That ended his basketball career, and allowed him to make the jump to golf.
As a member of the RIC golf team, he won three-tournaments during his career.

Along with doing the podcast, Cilley is an assistant coach on the Westerly boys basketball team and golf team.
He is also a certified Titleist Performance Institute trainer.
