Hamilton, Leopold Playing in Gasparilla Invitational
Mike Hamilton and Bobby Leopold are down in Florida this week competing in the 68th Annual Gasparilla Invitational at Palma Ceia Golf & Country Club.
The Gasparilla is among the more prestigious amateur/mid-amateur tournaments, with players flying in from all over the world to play.

There are players in the field from Denmark, Puerto Rico and England – just to name a few.
The tournament begins on Thursday morning, with a champion being crowned on Saturday.
Leopold Preview
One of the great players in RI golf history, Leopold finished second at the Gasparilla Invitational last year.
The three-time RI Amateur champ will tee off as part of the 8 a.m. shotgun start with Josh Gliege, and New York’s Darin Goldstein.
They are off of hole 15.
Hamilton Preview
Hamilton did not play the Gasparilla last year, but earned an invite this year by winning the Rhode Island Player of the Year and Stroke Play Championship.
He tee off as part of the 1:30 p.m. shotgun with Florida’s Blanton Farmer and Arizona’s Kristoffer Marshall.
They are off of hole five.
