Adidas Ends Relationship with Dustin Johnson
Adidas and Dustin Johnson are parting ways after more than 15 years together, the company announced on Tuesday afternoon.
According to ESPN, the split is “amicable,” and Johnson is focused on building the 4Aces (his LIV team) brand.
“We’ve mutually agreed to part ways with long-time Adidas athlete, Dustin Johnson. For more than 15 years, Dustin has been a great ambassador for the Adidas brand. We’ve had a front-row seat to see him win multiple major championships, ascend to the No. 1 ranking and cement himself as one of the best golfers in history — all while wearing the 3-Stripes. We wish Dustin nothing but success moving forward,” Adidas Golf president Jeff Lienhart said in a statement to ESPN.

According to ESPN, Johnson wants to use the shirt to build the 4Aces Brand, by wearing the logo on the shirt.
Adidas wanted to have the entire shirt.
Johnson will continue wearing Adidas shoes, and his relationship with TaylorMade is unchanged.
ESPN also reports that Adidas is not renewing its contract with Sergio Garcia.
LIV plays their first tournament of the season on Friday.
Johnson’s 4Aces are the defending champions.
