Florio Finishes 4th at Reynolds Oconee Invitational
Alexis Florio fired a final round 73 to finish in a tie for fourth place at the Reynolds Oconee Invitational at Great Waters in Georgia.
The Cranston native finished four-over for the tournament, four shots behind Western Kentucky’s Catie Craig.
After an opening 76, Florio got things back on track with an impressive 71 in the second round and then a 73 in Sunday’s final round.
Meanwhile, the Indiana Hoosiers finished in sixth with a team score of 41-over par.
Florio’s Final Round
Florio started on the eighth hole and made pars on both the eighth and ninth.
Making the turn, she doubled the tenth hole, and then made two pars on the 11th and 12th holes.
Her first birdie of the day came on 13, but the Cranston native gave it right back with a bogey on 14.
Florio birdied the 15th and the 18 to turn at even par.
Going back to the front side, Florio bogeyed the third hole and parred out the rest of the way to post a 73.
