Shane Drury is taking the vacant head pro job at Glocester Country Club, the club announced this week and he confirmed to GolfNewsRI.

The Glocester job came open after Nick Maresca left for the Lincoln Country Club job.

“I’m really looking forward to the upcoming season. The Glocester CC membership has a family vibe and really enjoy their golf. I am very excited to get to know all of the members. I love the golf course and the beautiful setting overlooking the lake,” said Drury.

Drury worked at Button Hole over the last two years. His last day there is Wednesday, February 15.

“I enjoyed my time at Button Hole. I helped the facility reach some key goals,” Drury added.

Button Hole has not yet named a replacement.

Drury added, “Whomever it is will really enjoy it. Very rewarding gig, truly an all inclusive golf oasis in our capital city.”
