Paik Finishes 14th in Rain Shortened Columbia Classic
Rhode Island’s Allison Paik finished in a tie for 14th in the Columbia Classic on Monday at Duran Golf Club in Florida.
The tournament was shortened to just two rounds due to rain.
Paik finished at two-over for the week, moving up 16 spots after a second round 70.
Columbia finished seventh with a team score of 31-over par, Texas Tech won the tournament at five-under.
Paik’s Final Round
Starting on the tenth hole, Paik bogeyed the par-5 11th hole, but rattled off three straight birdies from holes 13-15.
The Wheeler grad followed that up with back-to-back bogeys on the 16th and 17th before saving par on 18 to turn at even par.
On the front side, Paik bogeyed the second hole, but again rattled off three-straight birdies from holes four to six.
She parred out to card a two-under 70 for the day.
