An award winning, unique day resort in Rhode Island seeking operations manager.
Multi-faceted hospitality business is seeking experienced, highly motivated individual with strong leadership skills to lead a successful, hardworking team. Promoting a corporate culture built on respect, integrity, customer service and hard work.
Essential skills and duties:
Candidate must have thorough knowledge of food and beverage/banquet business. Must have strong leadership skills and be a hands-on manager, willing to assist the team where ever necessary to ensure success.
Must be familiar with POS systems, catering software and spread sheets.
Develop and adhere to budgets for venues and banquet business. Sales and profit forecasting.
Work with management to recruit and train seasonal staff. Our business adds 80 – 90 seasonal team members each spring.
Work with managers and sales staff to coordinate BEO’s to cover all functions on property that week.
Oversee golf shop and golf course maintenance.
Responsible for ensuring that all corporate policies, procedures and training programs are followed. Suggest modifications to improve policies, procedures and training when necessary.
Manage marketing and social media.
Oversee and coach sales team. Assist when necessary.
Develop and adhere to budgets for venues and banquet business. Sales and profit forecasting
Oversee safety and sanitation of facility.
Human Resource management.
Coordinate repair and maintenance of restaurant equipment.
Must be willing to fill in wherever needed to ensure the ultimate customer experience and lead the team by example.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $85,000.00 – $95,000.00 per year
