Sheehan in 69th After Opening Round of Champions Tour Q School
Rhode Island’s Patrick Sheehan is in a tie for 69th after the opening round of PGA Champions Tour Final Stage Q School in Arizona.
Sheehan fired a first round 75 to finish at four-over par and near the bottom of the leaderboard.
Round two gets underway on Wednesday.
In the final stage, there will be five fully exempt spots available on the Champions Tour.
Those who finish six through 30 will be eligible to play for a PGA Champions Tour Associate Membership for the 2023 season.
That will allow them the chance to enter Champions Tour weekly qualifiers.
