Mike Weir to Captain International Presidents Cup Team in 2024
Canadian golf legend Mike Weir has been named captain of the International Team for the 2024 Presidents Cup.
The tournament will be held at Royal Montreal.
Weir served as an assistant captain for this past year’s Presidents Cup Team.
Weir’s Career
In his career, Weir is best known for winning the Masters in 2003, making him the only Canadian man to ever win a major championship.
He has eight career wins on the PGA Tour, two on the European Tour and one win on the PGA Tour Champions.
Weir has five other wins worldwide.
