This is Valois’ fourth stroke average award.

According to RIGA, the award is made up of all RI individual events, including qualifying for the New England Amateur and any USGA qualifiers.

Valois’ Season

This season, Valois took medalist honors at the Rhode Island Amateur at Wanumetonomy under brutal wind conditions.

He lost in match play to eventual champion Kevin Blaser.

Valois qualified for the U.S. Amateur, where he missed the match play cut, and the U.S. Mid-Am at Erin Hills.

He didn’t play the U.S. Mid-Am due to injury.
