GolfNewsRI Poll Shows Locals Wanted RIGA to Win Triggs Bid
FCG Associates will retain the operation and management of Triggs Memorial Golf Course, as GolfNewsRI reported on Sunday night.
Shortly after the bids were unveiled back in September, GolfNewsRI conducted a two question poll, asking golfers who they would like to see win the Triggs Bid.
While we did not get thousands of votes, the results we did get were overwhelming in favor of the Rhode Island Golf Association.
GolfNewsRI forwarded the results to the City of Providence earlier this week for them to use or not use.
For the record, we were going to send the poll results no matter the outcome.
The poll is now closed, but here are the final results.
