RI’s Nick Emery Finishes 3rd in Hurricane Jr. Golf Tour Event
St. Raphael Academy golf star Nick Emery finished in third place at the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour event at Tekoa Country Club in Massachusetts this past weekend.
Emery posted rounds of 73 and 82 to finish in third, one shot back MA’s Anthony Choukas and Brady Warren.
He was 13-over for the tournament, the winners were 12-over.
Out of the four age divisions in the tournament, Emery was the only Rhode Islander to play.
As GolfNewsRI wrote about, Emery led the charge to bring a golf team back to St. Rays.
In just a few short months, St. Rays will begin their second season as a program.
His next tournament will be on Cape Cod this weekend.
