Kirby Looks to Bounce Back on Sunday at Senior PGA Professional Championship
Rhode Island’s Ed Kirby will look to bounce back in Sunday’s final round of the Senior PGA Professional Championship in New Mexico.
Kirby fired a third round 76 and currently sits in a tie for last place at four-over par with 18 holes to play.
He tees off at 9:50 a.m. on Sunday at Twin Warriors Golf Course.
Kirby’s 3rd Round
Starting on the front side, Kirby opened with bogeys on the second and third holes to get to two over.
He made a birdie on four, but then doubled the fifth and bogeyed the sixth to slide down the leaderboard.
The Aquidneck Club Pro birdied the eight, but then again, gave it right back with a bogey on nine to turn at 40.
On the back side, Kirby bogeyed the 10th hole and birdied the 12th before parring out to close in 36 and 76 overall.
