Late Birdies Keep Francoeur’s Q School Hopes Alive with 1 Round Left

Former University of Rhode Island star Chris Francoeur made two birdies on his second nine holes to keep his hopes alive with one round left at Korn Ferry Tour Q School Stage 2 in New Mexico.

Francoeur is two-over for the tournament and is four shots off the cut line with one round left on Friday.

He still needs a big finish on Friday, however, he is in significantly better position than where he was just a few hours ago.

The top 17 players and ties make the cut. He is tied for 32nd.
