Welch Climbs 4 Spots in PGA Tour U Rankings
Following his successful debut on the PGA Tour this past weekend, Patrick Welch climbed four spots in the latest PGA Tour University rankings.
Previously ranked 11th, Welch has moved inside the top ten and into seventh overall.
The top-10 players in the final ranking will earn Korn Ferry Tour membership next season with the top five players being fully exempt.
Welch’s ranked behind Texas’ Travis Vick and just ahead of Pepperdine’s William Mouw and North Carolina’s Dylan Menante.
Texas Tech’s Ludvig Aberg is ranked number one overall.
Welch will return to action alongside his Oklahoma Sooners on Monday, October 17 for the start of the Big 12 Match Play Tournament.
The Sooners will close the fall season in Hawaii for the Ka’anapali Classic at the end of the month.
