Francoeur Just Outside Cut Line After First Round of Q School Stage 2
Former University of Rhode Island star Chris Francoeur sits just one shot outside the cut line after the first round of Korn Ferry Tour Q School Stage 2.
Francoeur posted an even par 71 on Tuesday and the current cut is one-under.
The top 17 players and ties lock up Korn Ferry Tour membership and advance to Final Qualifying to try and earn priority membership.
Francoeur’s Round
Francoeur got off to a great start, birding the second hole and seventh holes to get to two-under par.
However, a bogey on the eighth hole dropped him a shot making the turn.
After a par on 10, Francoeur bogeyed the par-3 11th hole, but got it back with a birdie on 13.
He then bogeyed the 15th hole to drop to even par for the round.
