Paik Finishes 8th at Ivy Intercollegiate
Rhode Island’s Allison Paik finished in a tie for eighth at the Ivy Intercollegiate at Baltusrol Golf Club in New Jersey on Monday.
Paik posted rounds of 74 ad 71 to lead the Columbia Lions in the one day showdown.
She is tied with North Carolina’s Kayla Smith.
Meanwhile, Paik’s Columbia Lions finished ninth, with a team score of 614.

Following a first round 74, Paik bounced back with a good second round.
Opening with two pars, the Wheeler grad birdied the third hole, before making bogeys on the fourth and fifth holes.
She closed the front nine with birdies on seven and nine to turn at one-under for the round.
Making the turn, Paik bogeyed the 10th, 11th and 15th holes, but closed strong.
Paik dropped a birdie on the par-3 16th hole, another birdie on the par-5 17th and yet another birdie on the par-5 18th hole to shoot 71.
