Harry Dessel Records Best Collegiate Finish at UConn Invitational
Former Moses Brown star Harry Dessel recorded his best collegiate finish of his young career on Tuesday afternoon at the UConn Invitational at GreatHorse.
Dessel finished in solo fourth place with a three round score of two-over par (218) for the tournament.
He posted rounds of 73, 72 and 73 in the three rounds to record the high finish.
URI star Brandon Gillis won the tournament at eight-under par.
Dessel’s Final Round
Starting the final round in a tie for second, Dessel opened with a birdie on the first hole.
After a string of six straight pars, Dessel made back-to-back bogeys to turn at 37.
On the back side, Dessel birdied the tenth hole, but bogeyed the 14th hole to shoot a one-over 73.
