Francoeur in 6th After 3rd Round of Korn Ferry Tour Q School
Former University of Rhode Island star Chris Francoeur is in good shape with one round left of Korn Ferry Tour Q School Stage 1.
Francoeur followed up a second round 66 with a third round 69 and currently sits in a tie for sixth overall at six-under par.
The top 25 players and ties advance to stage two.
As of Friday evening, the cut is one-under par.
Francoeur’s 3rd Round
The Massachusetts native got off to a hot start, birding two of his first three holes to get to two-under par.
He dropped another birdie on six, before bogeying eight to turn at 34 (2-under).
On the back side, Francoeur saved par on four straight holes before birding the 14th hole.
He closed with a bogey on 17 and a birdie on 18 to shoot 69.
