Chris Francoeur Advances to Stage 2 of Korn Ferry Tour Q School
Former University of Rhode Island Golf star Chris Francoeur is moving on to stage two of Korn Ferry Tour Q School.
Francoeur posted a six-under 66 in the final round of stage one on Friday to finish in second place for the tournament.
He was 12-under for the tournament, after finishing at three-over in the first round.
Stage two of Q School begins on October 11, it is unclear where Francoeur will be playing.
Francoeur’s Final Round
Starting the day well inside the cut line, Francoeur’s final round did not get off to the most ideal start.
He bogeyed the first hole.
However, the Massachusetts native was quick to recover, making back-to-back birdies on two and three, then dropping another birdie on six to turn at two-under.
On the back side, Francoeur birdied the tenth hole, and then dropped three straight birdies from 13 to 15 to cement is spot inside the cut line.
He did bogey 17, but bounced right back with a birdie on 18 to shoot 66.
