Welch Finishes 15th at Inverness Intercollegiate, Oklahoma 3rd
Patrick Welch finished in a tie for 15th this week at the Inverness Intercollegiate at Inverness Club in Ohio.
Welch posted rounds of 72, 75 and 71 for a three-round total of 218 to tie with Jack Wall and Nick Dentino.
Meanwhile, Welch’s Oklahoma Sooners finished third overall, ten shots behind first place Texas Tech.
Tech finished one-over for the tournament.
Welch’s Final Round
After a second round 75, Welch opened the final round with bogeys on the fourth and sixth holes to turn at two-over.
On the back side, Welch birdied the tenth hole, then dropped another birdie putt on the 13th hole.
He parred out to shoot an even par 71.
Next up for Welch, he will make his first ever PGA Tour start next week in Las Vegas at the Shriners Children’s Open.
