Former Barrington High School star, and Drew University freshman, Ryan Ricci is in a tie for 28th after the first round of the George Cangero Invitational at Bethpage State Park.
Ricci fired a first round 75 to finish in a tie with several other players.
Meanwhile, Ricci’s Drew University is in a tie for 6th with a team score of 19-over par.
On another team, Kirkbrae’s Cam DeSante is in a tie for 41st with a seven over 77.
DeSante is a freshman at Nichols College.
Nichols is in ninth place in the tournament.
