VIDEO: Dustin Johnson Drains Massive Eagle Putt to Win LIV Invitational Boston in Playoff

Dustin Johnson drained a massive eagle putt on the 18th hole at The International to win the LIV Golf Invitational Boston in a playoff on Sunday evening in Bolton.

On in two, the former U.S. Open and Masters Champ had a putt up the ridge on 18 and slammed it. If the hole wasn’t there, the ball would have rolled several feet by – at least.

“That was going a little fast, but it was on the right line. I felt like I played really well all week, got some unlucky breaks here the first time around so it owed me one, and I got it,” Johnson said after the round.

Johnson beat Joaquin Riemann and Anirban Lahiri to become the first American to win the individual title.

This was also the first playoff in LIV golf history.

Johnson’s team, the 4 Aces, won the team titles for the third straight time.

“The fans were unbelievable out there today, and then obviously to get the team victory, too, is just a big bonus, just because at one point I think we were on 12 tee, I was playing with Talor and there was a leaderboard. I think we were four back standing on 12 tee. We had, whatever, seven holes to play. But all the guys, I know they’re all watching leaderboards, so we all rallied really hard to get another win, and I think that says a lot about the team,” added Johnson.

Johnson’s team includes Taylor Gooch, Patrick Reed and Pat Perez.
