Rory McIlroy Wins FedEx Cup
Rory McIlroy came from behind to win the FedEx Cup championship on Sunday afternoon at East Lake Country Club in Atlanta, Georgia.
McIlroy gets the win following weeks of being one of the PGA Tour’s lead spokesmen against the LIV Golf Tour.
The victory gives McIlroy the $18 million prize.
Scottie Scheffler started the round with a multiple shot lead, but a missed 12 foot birdie putt on 17 gave McIlroy the lead going into the last hole.
Both players hit poor second shots into the par-5, before McIroy tapped two putted to win the title.
