Francoeur Advances to Stage 1 of Korn Ferry Tour Q School
Former University of Rhode Island golf star Chris Francoeur has advanced to Stage 1 of Korn Ferry Tour Q School.
Francoeur fired a three-day total of 207 to finish in solo fifth at the pre-qualifier at Quarry Lakes in Nebraska this week to advance with relative ease.

The stage one tournaments begin on September 13.
It is unclear where Francoeur will play in the first stage, but there are multiple locations from North Carolina to California
Francoeur’s Final Round
Francoeur started the day in second place overall, so his rough start in the final round did not hurt him much at all.
The former Rhody Ram opened with a double-bogey on the third hole, and then a bogey on the seventh.
Francoeur then birdied the eighth hole and bogeyed the ninth to turn at 38.
On the back side, Francoeur birdied the 12th hole, bogeyed the 14th and then birdied the 18th hole to fire a two-over 73.
