Francoeur in 2nd Entering Final Round of Q School in Nebraska
Former University of Rhode Island star Chris Francoeur is in second place entering Friday’s final round of Korn Ferry Tour Q School Pre-Qualifying at Quarry Oaks in Nebraska.
After entering the round tied for the lead, Francoeur is now eight-under for the tournament and one shot behind Joe Weiler.
Either way, he is in great position to advance to stage one, as the top 29 players and ties will advance.
Francoeur’s 2nd Round
Francoeur opened the round with a bogey on the first hole, but immediately bounced back with a birdie on the second hole.
He then made birdies on the fifth and sixth holes to turn at two-under 33.
On the back side, the former Rhody golf star birdied the 12th hole and bogeyed the 14th hole.
Francoeur closed with a birdie on the 17th hole to post 68.
