Patrick Reed Files Lawsuit Against Brandel Chamblee, Golf Channel

LIV golfer Patrick Reed has filed a lawsuit against Brandel Chamblee and Golf Channel accusing them of defamation.
The lawsuit was filed on Tuesday at U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Texas Houston Division.
It was filed by Reed’s attorney Larry Klayman.

The lawsuit claims that “calculated, malicious attacks have had a direct effect on Mr. Reed’s livelihood.”
Reed also claims that Chamblee has a history of calling him a cheater, and has harshly criticized him and other golfers for their decision to leave the PGA Tour for LIV.
At the end of the lawsuit, Reed calls for a full jury trial on all accusations.
