Kevin Silva Wins Montaup Club Championship
Former Rhode Island Amateur Champion Kevin Silva defeated Glenn Dufault in 54 holes of stroke play to win the Montaup Club Championship this past weekend.
Silva shot rounds of 69, 76 and 67 to overcome a four-shot deficit and take the title.
Dufault fired rounds of 70,71 and 75.
The championship started two weekends ago and finished this past Saturday.
Along with being a RI Amateur winner, Silva has also played in two U.S. Opens in his career and won Medalist honors at the 2021 RI Amateur at Kirkbrae.
