Bubba Watson to Join LIV Golf, Make Debut at The International

It appears to be official.
Bubba Watson will be the next professional golfer to join LIV Golf, according to a report from Bob Harig of Sports Illustrated.
The Telegraph reports that Watson is being paid in excess of $50 million.

The two-time Masters Champion is expected to make his debut when LIV comes to The International in September.
According to Harig, Watson will be one of the team captains.
Back in April, The Telegraph reported that Watson was going to join the Saudi-backed tour, but Watson denied it at the time.
Watson has not played since May as he has been recovering from a torn meniscus.
He is ranked 86th in the world at the current moment.
Watson joining LIV will give the new tour nine of the last 19 major champions.
