Angelone, Giorgi Win Triggs Ryder Cup Championship

Peter Angelone and Antonio Giorgi teamed up to win the Triggs Ryder Cup championship on Sunday afternoon. 

The duo combined to card a 6-under par 66 Sunday, to win the Ryder Cup gross championship.

The tournament was a combination of best ball, modified alternate shot and scramble and everyone seemed to enjoy the unique format.

The net championship was captured by Bob O’Connor and Peter Fitzsimmons, with a score of 10-under 62.

Second low gross honors went to Tom Cabana and Bob Aceto, a 3-under 69.

Second low net was taken by Raymond Castigliego and Alex Maratta (63).

Third low net was recorded by Joe Park and Jim Duffy (64) and fourth net went to Steve Scandariato and Keith Blanchette (65).

Ernie Masi captured two closest to the pins (#s 4 and 7). Gary Marcotte won the 12th hole pin and Roger Plante took the pin on the 14th.

Skins were won by the Allcock brothers (Keith and Ed) on the second hole, Castigliego (fourth hole) and Fitzsimmons (15th).
