Chatfield Tied for 19th After Round 3 of Pacific Coast Amateur

Davis Chatfield will seek a high finish when round four of the Pacific Coast Amateur gets underway on Friday at Columbia Edgewater Country Club.
Through three rounds, Chatfield is tied for 19th at three-under par and just a few shots out of a top ten, or even top five finish.

Tennessee’s Caleb Surratt and Arizona’s James Low lead the tournament at 12-under par.

After and opening 73, Chatfield bounced back in round two with a 69.
In round three, he did one better, 68, to climb the leaderboard.
The former Notre Dame star bogeyed two of the first five holes, but then rallied five birdies the rest of the way.
The first birdie came on the sixth hole, and then another at the eighth hole to turn at an even par 35.
Kicking off the second nine, Chatfield dropped birdies at 10 and 11, then another at 14 to shoot 68.
