Williams, MacLeod Lead Locals at Challenge Cup Boys/Girls Championship
La Salle rising sophomore Olivia Williams and recent St. Mary’s-Bay View grad Morgan MacLeod finished in a tie for 5th at the U.S. Challenge Cup Boys & Girls Championship at Agawam Hunt this week.
Williams posted rounds of 73, 79 to lead all Rhode Islanders in the field, while MacLeod posted rounds of 74 and 78.
On the boys side, Barrington’s Cole Vieira finished tenth, while Rocco Biafore took 13th in the tournament.
On the boys side, the tournament winner was Belmont MA’s Patrick Kilcoyne, who finished at even par for the two day event.
On the girls side, Bridgewater, MA’s Victoria Veator and Molly Smith finished tied at four-over.
