REPORT: Feherty to Leave NBC for LIV Golf
Just a day after the conclusion of the British Open at St. Andrews, popular golf commentator David Feherty is leaving NBC and joining LIV Golf as an analyst, according to a report from Andrew Marchand of the New York Post.
Feherty was on the call of the British Open.
“Feherty is expected to be an analyst on the 8-to-10 LIV Golf tournaments each year,” Marchand writes, citing sources.
Feherty previously worked at CBS for over two decades before moving to NBC and Golf Channel.
The New York Post did not have a comment from NBC or Feherty in the article.
LIV Golf currently has former NBC soccer play-by-play man Arlo White on the call.
They are also in talks with NBA legend Charles Barkley.
