According to Golf Digest, the spilt has nothing to do with Reed’s departure from the PGA Tour.

The relationship lasted six months.

Since joining PXG back in January, Reed posted just one top 25 finish in a full field event.

His world ranking dropped to 39th, the worst ranking of his career since 2014.

According to Digest, Reed stopped using the PXG driver at the U.S. Open and Memorial, instead using a club from Grindworks.

The controversial Reed also stopped wearing PXG gear after the Charles Schwab Challenge.
