Ed Kirby Tees Off in U.S. Senior Open
Rhode Island’s Ed Kirby tees off this afternoon in the U.S. Senior Open at Saucon Valley in Pennsylvania.
As GolfNewsRI reported, Kirby punched his ticket to the Open by firing a one-under 69 in a qualifier at Hatherly Country Club in Massachusetts back in May.
Kirby has now qualified for every USGA Championship that he has been eligible for.
Kirby tees off at 12:51 p.m. with Miles McConnell and Yoshinobu Tasukada.
The tournament airs on the Peacock app from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Brett Quigley is also in the field and tees off at 1:54 p.m.
