Ed Kirby Completes Opening Round at U.S. Senior Open
Rhode Island’s Ed Kirby completed his debut round at the U.S. Senior Open on Thursday afternoon at Saucon Valley in Pennsylvania.
Kirby fired a seven-over 78 and currently sits in a tie for 101st with players such as David Duval and Olin Browne.
The Aquidneck Club pro tees off at 7:21 a.m. on Friday.
Meanwhile, RI’s Brett Quigley is two-over par for the tournament after being one-under early on in the round.
Mark Hensby and Jay Haas are tied for the lead at four-under.
