Iaciofano, 22 Others Qualify for the RI Amateur
Joey Iaciofano, the 14-year-old out of Button Hole, has qualified for the Rhode Island Amateur.
As GolfNewsRI previously reported, he will be the youngest player in the field by at least a couple of years.
Iaciofano fired a four-over 75 at Foster on Wednesday to make the cut along with 22 other players.
There was a four-way tie for medalist honors at three-over par.
The tie was between David Marshall, Jack McMullen, Matthew Osman and Nathan Kaufman.
The cut was seven-over.
The Rhode Island Amateur is set for mid-July at Wanumetonomy.
