DiSanto, Mernick Win Triggs Member-Member Tournament
The team of Carmine DiSanto and Ken Mernick couldn’t miss on Saturday, combining for a best ball total of 3-under par 69, to take low gross honors at the Member-Member Memorial Tournament at Triggs.
Bill Volpe and Steve Scandariato won low net with a 11-under total of 61.
The tournament commenced with a reading of the names of past Triggs members who are no longer with us.
Second low gross was tie between the teams of Jay Amado-Richard Ricci and Peter McBride-Ken Ferrara, both finishing at 2-under 70.
Ed Emond-Pat Gannon and Jim Savasta-Matt Janas tied for the third low net with a total of 9-under 63.
There was a three-way tie for fifth low net; Lou Riquinha-Richard Squizzero; Gary Marcotte-Steve McArthur; Joe DiRenzo-Norm Bishop, at 8-under 64.
