USGA to Allow LIV Golf Players to Compete at U.S. Open

After a couple of days of speculation, the USGA announced on Tuesday that players who joined the LIV Golf Tour will be allowed to compete in next week’s U.S. Open at The Country Club in Brookline.
Recently, Dustin Johnson and Phil Mickelson, among others, have all said they were under the understanding that they would be able to play.
Now it is official.
