Barrington HS Star Cole Vieira, Mark Wilson Lead RI Four-Ball Championship After Round 1
Barrington High School golf star Cole Vieira and partner Mark Wilson lead the Rhode Island Four-Ball Championship after round one at Ledgemont.
Vieira and Wilson finished at eight under par and lead the team of Tyler Cooke and Bobby Leopold by one shot.
They made a total of nine birdies to take the lead.
Both teams will play Green Valley Country Club on Tuesday.
Vieira and Wilson’s Round
Vieira and Wilson started the day with a birdie on the first hole to get to one-under par on the day.
They then birdied the fourth and fifth holes, followed by pouring in two more birdies on seven and nine to turn at five-under.
On the back side, Vieira and Wilson birdied the tenth hole, but made a bogey on 11.
They closed the round with birdies on 12, 14, and 17 to finish at eight under.
