Crestwood’s Nathan Winsor and Crystal Lake’s Geoff Burgess tied for medalist honors in the first RI Amateur Qualifier on Wednesday at Swansea Country Club.
Winsor and Burgess posted a pair of one-over 73s to take the honors.
Overall, 22 players made the cut including Pawtucket’s Brian O’Leary, the father of Andrew O’Leary, and Agawam Hunt’s Bruce Heterick.
The cut fell at six-over 78.
The Rhode Island Amateur is set for July 11-15 at Wanumetonomy.
