Nelly Korda to Play U.S. Women’s Open

She’s back.

Women’s golf star Nelly Korda has announced that she will play in next week’s U.S. Women’s Open at Pine Needles.

This news comes a few months after Korda was diagnosed with blood clots in her left arm and had to step way from the game.

“See you guys at the U.S. Women’s Open next week,” Korda wrote on Instagram.

Last week, Korda started the speculation by releasing a video of herself hitting golf shots at a driving range.

Korda won four times last season, including the KPMG Women’s PGA Championship, and also a gold medal at the Olympics.

She played the first four events this season and finished in the top-20 in all of them before having to step away.
