Barrington’s Ryan Ricci Commits to DIII Drew University
Barrington senior Ryan Ricci has committed to play golf at Division III Drew University in New Jersey, his father confirmed to GolfNewsRI.
Ricci is currently getting ready to lead the Eagles into the High School State Championship next Tuesday and Wednesday at Cranston Country Club.
Over the last month or so of matches, Ricci has posted scores of 43 at Wanumetonomy, 44 at Agawam Hunt, an impressive 36 at Newport Country Club, and a 43 at Rhode Island Country Club.
He also added a 42 at Crestwood late last month in one of Barrington’s first matches of the season.

The Drew Rangers are coming off their debut in the DIII NCAA Championships.
They advanced to the NCAAs after winning the Landmark Conference Title for the first time in program history.
This season, Drew is losing three seniors and a graduate student.
They return three juniors and a sophomore next season, along with adding Ricci and any other incoming freshmen.
