Maguire, Jagoe Win Sakonnet Pro-Pro
Wanumetonomy’s Bill Maguire and Nick Jagoe won the Sakonnet Pro-Pro Tournament on Tuesday.
The team posted a score of 5-under 65 to win the tournament by one shot.
For their victory, they take home $1,300.
Winning Round
After parring the first two holes, the Wanumetonomy team birdied the third hole, but gave it right back with a bogey on the fourth hole.
They rebounded with a birdie on six, another birdie on seven and an eagle on the eighth hole to turn at four-under 30.
On the back side, they birdied the 11th and 14th holes, but gave both of those birdies back with a double-bogey on the 15th hole.
They closed with a birdie on 17 to shoot 65 and win by one.
