Bryson DeChambeau Withdraws from PGA Championship

Bryson DeChambeau has withdrawn from the PGA Championship to continue recovering from hand surgery that he had a month ago.
“I want to be 100% and I want to give somebody else an opportunity to play out here that deserves to be out here,” DeChambeau told Golf Channel on the decision.

As of Tuesday, DeChambeau was planning to play the tournament after feeling good after a practice round.
DeChambeau has not played a tournament since The Masters, where he missed the cut.
Denny McCarthy will replace DeChambeau in the field.
